Making a Difference
Caterplus believes that to serve its welfare sector clients properly, it needs to help their service-users too wherever possible.
This doesn’t just mean providing people with nutritious meals but with opportunities to build their self-confidence and the chance to get back onto their feet.
Caterplus worked closely with welfare sector clients to find a medium that would help vulnerable service-users to build self-confidence, motivation and eventually self-sufficiency. The result is our Making a Difference programme.
This multi-stage training programme teaches people about health and nutrition, health and safety and food preparation skills, to help them develop valuable personal skills and also equip them for future employment.
