Waterfall Services joins Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100
The specialist Care and Education Contract Caterer, Waterfall Services, has entered the Private Companies Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 after three years of outstanding growth based upon a passion for fresh food and bespoke service. The success story started with the acquisition of Caterplus in February 2007 by a management team led by Vince Pearson, Jim Lovett and Gary Palmer and has included both significant organic growth and the acquisition of Taylor Shaw in June 2008. The team has been backed by private equity through Yorkshire Fund Managers (YFM) and the management shareholder group has widened to include Gabrielle Storey, Peter Taylor and Tony Barrett.
Today the group employs close to 3,000 people across nearly 600 client sites in Education, Care, Welfare and Business and Industry.
Jim Lovett, Group Managing Director, commented:
"We are delighted to gain recognition of this stature and I pay tribute to the hard working teams across both our operating brands, Caterplus and Taylor Shaw, who have fuelled our growth by providing Food and Service that makes a difference to our Clients and their Customers."
